May 16th was my 24th wedding anniversary. I was trying to get tickets for the Jersey Boys on Broadway to celebrate. Unfortunately, I thought, there were no tickets available for the Saturday evening show.
I suggested to my wife that we try the Goodspeed Opera House since we had never been there even though we live just 30 minutes away. I told her that I found a couple of tickets available in the orchestra for Saturday evening’s performance of Annie Get Your Gun. She reluctantly agreed to go.
After watching Jenn’s performance, we felt fortunate that there were no tickets left for Jersey Boys. She and the cast of AGYG were so good that when we left the theater we felt totally entertained. Thank you for a wonderful performance and making our anniversary a special night to remember.
